SWINDON and Wolverhampton clash at the Abbey in a critical meeting in the race for the Premiership play-offs tonight (Thursday).
Wolves hold fourth place after their home win over Belle Vue on Monday, whilst the Robins have two matches in hand – but cannot afford to drop points on their own circuit with King’s Lynn also closely involved.
Adam Ellis returns from injury for the home side, who won 52-38 when the sides met at the same venue three weeks ago.
Swindon star Rasmus Jensen said: “Things are looking better and better, with Claus Vissing coming into the team it means we have two good reserves and that should help us get to where we want to be.
“We need to keep things ticking over at home and that’s what we’ll be looking at doing against Wolverhampton.”
Wolves skipper Rory Schlein said: “We were there not so long back so it’s pretty fresh in our memory. We kind of ran them close part way through before we faded slightly at the end.
“But hopefully this time we can go there and do even better because that could prove to be a massive result one way or the other.”
SWINDON: Jason Doyle, Adam Ellis, Tobiasz Musielak, Rasmus Jensen, Troy Batchelor, Ellis Perks, Claus Vissing. WOLVERHAMPTON: Jacob Thorssell, Luke Becker, Rory Schlein, Nick Morris, Sam Masters, Kyle Howarth, Ryan Douglas.
