FORMER Leicester skipper Danny King will make his comeback from injury on his old home track in the Ben Fund Bonanza.
King has now recovered from the nerve damage to his arm which wrecked his 2018 campaign, and he will line up in the fund-raising season-opener on Sunday March 17.
Newly-appointed Lions captain Scott Nicholls, Wolves star Sam Masters and Bonanza ever-present Ben Barker have also been confirmed for the event.
King said: “The Ben Fund have been fantastic – you can’t fault them, they are always there. They certainly do their job and that’s why I am always pleased to try and help them when I can.
“I’ve always hoped in my career that I would never have to use the Ben Fund but I’ve still always supported it.
“It’s only been this last year that I have used it but it should be supported, because that’s what it is there for. So many riders have benefitted from it that they should be queuing up to do the meeting.”
